Chapter Meetings & Social Activities
All meetings of Irondequoit Chapter are held at the Hervey Ely Chapter House, 138 Troup Street, Rochester, New York, unless otherwise specified.
The September, April, and June meetings are held in the evening to accommodate our working members. These evening meetings are on the third Wednesday of the month at 5 PM, followed by a catered dinner and program.
The October, November, December, March, and May meetings are held during the day on the third Wednesday of the month at 11 AM. The November meeting is changed to the second Wednesday of the month if Thanksgiving Day falls within the third week. After the business meeting members share lunch together followed by a program.
There are no chapter meetings in January, February, July, and August.
In between chapter meetings, members enjoy other scheduled social activities which are called Sister Socials. These socials include meeting together at the House to share lunch and conversation as well as trips to various destinations within the Rochester area. Recent adventures have included lunch at a Victorian tea room and a tour with tea at the Susan B. Anthony House.
A Christmas Open House is held in December for chapter members, their families, and friends.
